This is a public private partnership project for the redevelopment of one of England’s largest regional hospitals.

The hospital is located in Plymouth and needed a major upgrade due to the demand on its services. John Henry was asked to work on the project as a health planning expert and was involved in the examination of the hospital’s departments and their upgrade needs. The result was an upgrade of the existing hospitals clinical spaces and the need to build a new acute care building on a separate site adjacent to the existing hospital. As well, substantial residential accommodation for the hospital’s key workers was required.
