New Hospital Project in Manila - First Iteration
with Stephenson & Turner
John Henry Architects as health planners were asked to form a team to design a new private hospital in Manila in the Philippines. The site for the hospital is small and is constrained and a vertical solution was the only solution available. The hospital accommodates an emergency department and ancillary areas. The building accomodates an operating theatre suite, diagnostic and clinical areas and private and public wards (the pods at roof level). Car parking was provided in two basement levels.
This is the first design for the hospital, which has been developed into the second iteration of the project.
